The MART of Trento and Rovereto is a museum centre founded in 1987. One of the most important in Europe, it boasts works belonging to three different sites: the Museum (new headquarters opened in 2002 and the main headquarters of the group) ,the Futurist Casa d'Arte Depero of Rovereto and the Galleria Civica di Trento.

The museum designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano, inaugurated in 2013, offers an extraordinary journey into science and nature. The exhibition’s itinerary tells about life on Earth and the history of the Dolomites, interacting with visitors and leading them into a fascinating tropical greenhouse. MUSE also hosts interesting temporary exhibitions.

The exhibition path, located in the small village of Cortalta in Fai della Paganella, develops through three ancient farmsteads and leads to the discovery of the rural life of the past in a fascinating way. The collected objects, including an alembic used for the production of grappa, are brought to life to tell visitors their story in a veryevocative atmosphere.

BUONCONSIGLIO CASTLE

Sumptuous residence of the Bishops' princes from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century and later used as a barracks until 1924, when it became a national museum, it stands in the historic centre of Trento. The castle hosts numerous exhibitions and is particularly appreciated for its architectural merits, the precious Romanino frescoes and the famous pictorial cycle of the months.

Impressive fortress located near Besenello, on a hill overlooking the entire Valle dell'Adige. This manor, surrounded by greenery, is home to numerous cultural events, historical re-enactments, conventions and play activities for children. Inside, you can touch swords, helmets, armour and other interesting medieval finds.

An expressive baroque style church belonging to the abbey complex of San Michele located in a splendid panoramic point of the Val di Non. The interior of the church, surrounded by extraordinary statues - including that of the Archangel Michael who pierces the devil - is rich in paintings and frescoes by Giuseppe Alberti.
